Provider credentialing & payer enrollment

Provider credentialing & payer enrollment.

Opening a practice or adding a provider creates a long list of payer requirements. I help prepare applications, track submissions, and follow up on missing information so you know what is pending, who needs to respond, and what comes next.

Where this fits

Support for the work in front of you.

Independent practices and groups in Indiana and Kentucky opening an office, adding a provider, or joining or maintaining insurance panels. This includes therapists and behavioral health practices moving from cash-pay toward insurance participation. We confirm the providers, payers, and application work included before you engage services.

A clear division of responsibilities.

What I handle

  • Provider application preparation and payer enrollment tracking
  • Payer-specific requirements and missing-information follow-up
  • Attestation and renewal follow-up within the agreed scope
  • Regular updates on the applications your practice needs to see

What your practice provides

  • The providers, locations, and payers you want to discuss
  • Current application and enrollment status, when known
  • Requested provider and business documents through a secure channel
  • Timely review of questions, attestations, and signatures

What the engagement produces

A defined enrollment plan, a checklist of required information, and a record of application progress and follow-up. Payers control acceptance, effective dates, and processing times.

What to expect.

Understand the separate payer steps

Credentialing is a review of a provider’s qualifications. Payer enrollment establishes the provider or practice with a payer for participation and billing. Contracting sets the terms of network participation; it may be a separate step. Medicare revalidation renews an existing enrollment record. Completing one step does not mean every requirement for participation or payment has been met.

Prepare the information and divide the work

We start with your providers, locations, payer list, and known application status. The onboarding checklist identifies the documents needed, which applications I prepare and follow up on, who submits them, and which attestations or signatures require your action. Some payers use the CAQH Provider Data Portal; any assistance related to that process must be confirmed in the agreed scope.

Follow pending requirements through to a response

Updates distinguish an application in review from one waiting on your practice or a payer. We agree on follow-up responsibilities and how you will receive status updates. Attestation, renewal, and enrollment-change work is included only as specified in your agreement. A complete application or CAQH profile does not itself confirm payer approval, network participation, or an effective date.

Who this supports

Credentialing for your kind of practice.

Medical practices

Enrollment applications and follow-up for physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants joining the commercial, Medicaid, or Medicare plans your practice works with.

Dental practices

Dental credentialing for new dentists and associates: plan network applications, attestations, and renewal dates.

Allied health & therapy

Speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy credentialing: payer applications, attestations, and follow-up for the plans your practice works with.

Behavioral health

Credentialing services for therapists, counselors, psychologists, and prescribers adding a provider or considering insurance participation. We confirm eligibility and the application path for each payer and license type; payers control approval and effective dates.

Working with your systems

Keep the authoritative records where they belong.

Credentials, tax information, and other sensitive business records are collected through a secure channel after access is arranged. Do not send them through the public inquiry form.

Before you decide.
