Medical billing & revenue cycle management

Medical billing services for small practices.

When claim follow-up competes with a full day of patient care, unpaid balances and denials can pile up. I help independent practices organize billing work, follow up with payers, and understand what needs attention next.

Where this fits

Support for the work in front of you.

Solo providers, small group practices, and growing medical, dental, allied health, and behavioral health teams in Indiana and Kentucky. Start with a billing backlog, a change in support, or a new practice workflow. We confirm specialty, payer, and system fit during the consultation.

A clear division of responsibilities.

What I handle

  • Claim submission and follow-up within the agreed scope
  • Denial management and follow-up on rejected or unpaid claims
  • Accounts receivable (A/R) review and aged-claim priorities
  • Insurance eligibility checks when included in the scope
  • Clear updates on progress, blockers, and responsibilities

What your practice provides

  • Your current EHR, practice management system, clearinghouse, and payer mix
  • A description of the backlog and ongoing work you want to hand over
  • Authorized access after an agreement is in place
  • Accurate clinical documentation and a contact for questions that need a practice decision

What the engagement produces

An agreed billing workflow, a prioritized work queue, and updates that make the next action visible. Payment decisions and payer processing times remain outside my control.

What to expect.

Start with the work you need handled

During onboarding, we review your current billing arrangement, the age of outstanding balances, and the payers involved. The written scope separates ongoing claim work from older A/R so responsibilities are clear. We agree on the first priorities and access before work begins.

Define each part of the revenue cycle

Revenue cycle management covers several stages of practice administration. Your agreement identifies the claim submission, follow-up, denial management, A/R review, or eligibility work included in this engagement. Your practice keeps responsibility for clinical documentation and decisions that require a clinician; other billing responsibilities are assigned explicitly.

Make progress and blockers visible

We agree on an update schedule and the information you need to review. Updates explain the work completed, outstanding payer responses, and questions requiring your input. This gives your practice a next action when a claim remains unresolved, without promising a payment amount or date.

Who this supports

Billing & RCM for your kind of practice.

Medical practices

Claim follow-up, denial management, and aged A/R review for the payers your practice already accepts.

Dental practices

Follow-up on unpaid or denied dental insurance claims and a prioritized view of outstanding balances.

Allied health & therapy

Speech therapy and OT billing follow-up: denied or unpaid claims, aging balances, and clear notes on what each payer still needs.

Behavioral health

Mental health billing follow-up for individual, group, and program-based services: denials, unpaid balances, and changes in billing support.

Working with your systems

Keep the authoritative records where they belong.

Work takes place in the EHR, practice management, clearinghouse, and payer systems your practice already uses, with authorized access for the agreed tasks. Patient and claim records remain in those systems. Do not send patient information through the website.
